The Dolphin Bottom was a concept conceived in the 80's when I started shaping my first thrusters. I found an old one at a garage sale in California, and have decided to expand on the idea and give it a more modern flair. It all started with the Diamond disc and has since morphed into our most popular model the Torkpedo. Since I've developed a tow board for Cale Grigson. The drive and stability from these boards are unreal and suit all surfers depending on the size. The bottom is a double concave running the length of the board with deep vee through the tail.
The feedback from these models has been resoundingly positive. We've put them to the test in ASL's Board Bible and Waves Board Test and the test riders were blown away. Not only do they flow well but have blistering speed, turn well in the pocket, and perform cutbacks and airs with ease. You gotta have one of these in your quiver. |
